Profile

Our Vision:
To become a leading Black Empowered Firm in the legal prefession by consolidating expert knowledge with equity, thereby ensuring superior service and client satisfaction.

Our Mission:
To develop and maintain superior standards in the legal profession through:

  • Continuous training
  • Development
  • Transference of skills
  • Optimum utilisation of modern technology, and
  • Quality recruitment

We endeavour to achieve our vision by recruiting student at tertiary level, training them during vacations and them employing them as candidate attorneys during which they are rotated through the various departments. On completion of their Articles of Clerkship they are encouraged too remain in our employ as Professional Assistants/Associates with continuous training and support by other attorneys to become specialists in their chosen field of law.

  • We conduct our business activities with integrity, honour and respect while building mutually beneficial relationships with our clients.
  • We take priority in client satisfaction and are committed to providing superior quality service on a continual basis.
  • We pride ourselves in responsiveness, high standards and effective systems of quality control.
  • We commit ourselves to client satisfaction through use of modern technology.

Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and Affirmative Action:
Being a product of BEE it is our stated policy to consistently review our profile and to ensure that it is representative of the general population of South Africa. Members of staff are selected predominantly from historically disadvantaged communities.

We adhere strongly to the concept of Broad Based Black Employment Equity (BBB EE) and strive to utilise and empower Black and demographically representative service providers. Our professional staff comprises 80% females and 20% males. It remains our policy to maintain this growth and we are committed to ensuring representativity within the firm. We hold the view that the empowerment of emerging attorneys must include a provision to afford opportunities to those attorneys within our law practice.

Interestingly in recent discussions held with a major parastatal organisation, the latter expressed the view that a major component of the purpose of the process of empowerment and skills transfer lies in the provision fo work opportunities for emerging attorneys within mainstream law practices.

We are confident that with the support of clients, opportunities for previously disadvantaged lawyers will result in the further and continued development of historically disadvantaged practitioners with specialised skills.

We pride ourselves on not making token appointments. All the young attorneys from previously disadvantaged communities are encouraged and assisted to develop areas of specialisation they can excel in.
